[News] Kim HyungJun speaks about 1st performance for “Cafe In” [26.11.10]

SS501 member Kim Hyung-jun posted an update on his official Twitter site today about his thoughts on his first performance for musical “Cafe In.”

Kim wrote “I felt nervous and a lot of pressure since this was first attempt at a musical role. I worked really hard as a new actor and I was really happy to see the audience enjoying the show. I will work harder to become a better musical actor.”

The show’s producer SH CREATIVE WORKS explained that the efforts Kim has put into his role showed during opening night and added that local fans as well as international fans from Japan, China and Taiwan came to cheer on the actor for his first performance.

Kim will play the double role of sommelier Jimin and Jung-min in the musical, a love story about a sommelier and a barista whose ex-lovers get married as soon as they break up with them, produced by actor Kang Ji-hwan.

“Cafe In,” which raised its curtains on November 24, will show at the Baekam Art Hall in Seoul till January 23.

I was worried and nervous and burdened as this is my first time challenging on Musical play. I worked very hard and work even harder with the attitude of a rookie actor, and seeing that the audience enjoying themselves, I felt very happy~I will work even harder in the future and become the Kim HyungJun who gets recongition.

Kim SoJung recently participated in the recording production of ‘LOVE IS’ the OST of musical ‘Cafe-in’ which Kim HyungJun appears in. Both of them took photos at the recording studio and they look like brother and sister.

Kim SoJung and Kim HyungJun came dressed in plain comfortable clothes, putting up a nice V, making the fans envious.

[News + Video] Reason behind Musical ‘Café In’ Kim Hyung Jun’s tears is?

On the eve of Kim Hyung Jun’s musical debut ‘Café  In’  first performance, a video clip of his comical scenes became a hot topic after it was released to public by the production team.

The commercial ad video that was released by the production team this time is made up of the practice scenes drawn into comic style of Kim Hyung Jun who has started to challenge musical acting, thereby arousing attention of everyone.

During the opening scene, he introduced himself by saying, “Hello. Starting from today onwards, I’m Kim Hyung Jun who has started work as a sommelier”, just like the witty sommelier in ‘Café In”, and again showing the scenes of his practice session in the commercial.

What is especially eye-catching in this UCC Spot is, Kim Hyung Jun who is in the midst of the musical practice has his face edited to become a comic character, saying “I’m a very popular Idol!”, with tears welling up in his eyes.

However there are also frustrating moments, but because of fans’ love and anticipation, he said “For my fans, I will work hard!” therefore becoming more strong-willed and allowed us to see his always smiley face.

Fans who have watched the video clip released by the production team said, “This is the first ever commercial ad (made for musical)!” “Musical acting has been acknowledged, although very tiring, filming it like an commericial ad, but for your fans, please work hard!” “In the commercial ad showed a prince-like pose~!” “In the commercial one person acting as two roles ^^”, showing different responses.

This musical is about the complicated romantic story between the impatient barrister Sae Jin and sommelier Ji Min, and one would be able to see Kim Hyung Jun, one person acting 2 roles as a sommelier and the gentleman, Jeong Min.

It will be opening its curtains on 24^th at SamSeongdong Baekham Arts Hall.
